A chronological log of significant milestones, projects, and contributions. Tracking the journey from student to open source contributor and cloud-native developer.
Speaker @ Open Source Summit India 2026 — Locking Down AI Agents
Gave the talk 'Oops, My AI Agent Just Deleted All My Email: Locking Down Agents With Signed Policies' at Open Source Summit India 2026 (The Linux Foundation). Introduced aflock, an open source framework built on Witness and in-toto that treats agent permissions like a lockfile — signed, immutable, and verifiable.
Speaker @ KubeCon + CloudNativeCon India 2026 — in-toto & Witness
Spoke in the Maintainer Track at KubeCon + CloudNativeCon India 2026 with Vyom Yadav (Canonical) on 'In-toto Attestations for What Really Happens in Your Build Pipeline, With Witness.' Covered runtime-derived attestations, enriching SBOMs, and establishing a network baseline for supply chain execution. My first KubeCon as both an attendee and speaker.
Started contributing to aflock & rookery
Began working on aflock and rookery, two projects focused on securing AI agents and attestation workflows. aflock brings cryptographically signed policies and verifiable in-toto attestations to constrained agent execution, while rookery extends modular attestation workflows around Witness.
Started live streaming (YouTube + Twitch)
During the 2-week gap before joining, I started streaming on YouTube and Twitch — exploring AI agents, building in public, and doing live Golang sessions to improve consistency and communication.
Switched to a more stable startup
Left the internship on 21 Jan and decided to join a new, more stable startup to focus on long-term growth, real impact, and stronger engineering mentorship.
Internship offer on New Year's Day
In Jan 2026, got an internship offer on the first day of new year — a major turnaround after months of learning, building, and staying consistent through rejections.
Faced heavy rejections but stayed consistent
From Dec 3 to Dec 31, faced a lot of rejections — including high-paying, fully remote US-based roles. Kept improving skills, shipping projects, and applying daily without losing momentum.
Contractor @ TestifySec • 30+ PRs in 3 months
Worked as a contractor at TestifySec and contributed to a CNCF graduated project. Shipped 30+ PRs in 3 months, improving reliability, security, and developer workflows in open source tooling.
Member of Kubernetes & Kubernetes SIGs
Contributing to TestGrid and Kubebuilder, which led to becoming a member of Kubernetes and Kubernetes SIGs. Looking forward to being part of the Cluster API (CAPI) Release Team CI Signal.
Exploring Software Supply Chain Security
Currently contributing to in-toto witness and witness-go projects, focusing on securing the software supply chain and building trust in the build pipeline.
Contributing to Kubernetes TestGrid & Kubebuilder
Started contributing to Kubernetes CI/CD infrastructure (TestGrid) and Kubebuilder, focusing on improving test result visualization, reporting, and developer experience for building controllers.
Serving as Kubestellar Maintainer & Mentor
Completed my LFX Mentorship and continued as a maintainer for the project I built, while mentoring new contributors and guiding the plugins project in Kubestellar.
Deep Dive into Kubernetes Development
Started building custom Kubernetes controllers and exploring cloud-native security with CVE scanning and admission webhooks.
Started LFX Mentorship with KubeStellar
Began working on Kubernetes multi-cluster management as part of CNCF Sandbox project. Focused on developing controllers, CRDs, and real-time observability features.
Won Smart India Hackathon (Internal)
Secured 1st place in internal Smart India Hackathon among 50+ teams with an innovative solution.
Completed Google Summer of Code
Successfully completed GSoC with Submitty, creating comprehensive test suites and improving the grading interface for educators. Also began developing a WebRTC-based communication platform with video chat, file sharing, and collaborative code editing.
Google Summer of Code Selection
Selected as a GSoC developer for Submitty project, focusing on end-to-end testing and user experience improvements.
Started Open Source Journey
Made my first significant open source contributions and began focusing on React/Backend/DevOps and cloud technologies.
